Glass Nose

I had an exhibition at the Merz Barn back in 2013. I essentially made the whole thing out of paper and bin bags, with some found glass, pigment and metal powder - which would become a bit of a staple for me from then on. So, as a show, it wasn't great (hence, I'm not letting you see blown up photos of it), but as week of exploration - of f**k it, I'm going to experiment because I'm sick and tired of bending my creativity to the will of other's - it was beyond compare. It was then that I thought up DoremiResidency in fact... an intense week of exploration and experimentation for emerging artists when you most need out of your current context.
